Tryptych Production of Verdi’s Oberto
On Friday, I had the great pleasure of photographing the dress rehearsal for Verdi’s opera Oberto, produced by Tryptych Concert and Opera. My friend Edward Franko directed the production and asked me to do the photography.
There is something very enjoyable about capturing images of people who love what they do and performers are at the top of my list. Here are some of the images for your enjoyment. In a second post, I’ll tell you about some of the technical challenges and comment on the use of traditional versus mirrorless cameras for this type of assignment.
